It was plane hysteria. The passengers weren’t actually sick.
The only sick person was the first patient which was a diver who couldn’t handle the different altitudes of the deep dive and then straight to the high one of the plane.

my family went on a trip to jamaica in 2022 and my mom passed out on the plane while me and my sister were asleep and my dad was watching a movie with his earbuds in. she was on the outside (aisle seat) and she reached across, tapped my dad (he’s a doctor) on the shoulder and as soon as he turned his head, she passed out. as some people may know, if you pass out for to long in a position where your blood can’t flow evenly, you could have seizures. so my dad jumped out of his seat, lifted her over the armrest and lid her down in the aisle. the pilot wanted to turn the plane around but my dad refused to let him do that. turned out my mom was overheated and she woke up after some cold water and towels on her forehead.
