The reason is that kai dosent actually exist in ur units spawn so they dont know what icon It wanted to be cuz it dosent have control icon
But giant pummeler is the same as giant so its controlnable and its just a glitch unfortunaly
I still wish i could spend my 5k gems for pummeler or others cuz its cool
