A little-known treasure lies nestled in a wood in Tallahassee. It's designed and built by Frank Lloyd Wright, arguably one of the most famous architects who specialized in what's called organic architecture. The Spring House, owned by the Lewis family in Tallahassee, has seen better days. But new efforts are underway to restore the house and turn it into a place of learning and creativity.

Frank Lloyd Wright cared about folks who didn't have a deep wallet. How many famous architects today will take the time to design and build for a family who has the courage to get in line and ask...Great story.

I'm a few days away from from sounding just like her. I've been a FLW fan since the early '60's ( 19xx's).
I'm retired living in an epi-center of mid-century modern architecture in Madison, Wi. and a couple hours from Oak Park, Illinois. Have been fortunate to have visited a fair number of Wright designed works.
