Man oh man…Degrassi TNG defines my teenage years. I’m born in 1991, so I was in high school at the same time as them on the show. My older sister was Paige and spinners age, and I was Emma and JT and Mannys age. It was nice being Canadian and having a show that was so close to home that showed REAL issues a lot of us were going through as teenagers in real time. Especially since is was unknown until degrassi they really pushed the limits with their topics. No other show did it before them. I shed a tear when JT died. We felt the characters on another level because they portrayed them so well and it was so relatable. Long live a legendary Canadian staple.

Spinner was always my favorite along with Sean and Jay.
The character development was just fantastic. Started off as a bully, then as someone who beats up other bullies from Lakehurst.

Its so crazy to me because they really didn't know the impact?? they had the whole hood on lock!! with Degrassi as to why there was so many seasons ! Speaking for me Degrassi was all I watched as a preteens into my teens! Truly understanding the public schools and we watch them grow up ugh Truly my childhoood I love them sm!
