Listen...living at home for as long as you can is one of the smartest choices you can make. A lot of you are quick to move out only to have to return to your parents home a few years later. Either that or you’re living in some broke down apartment paying rent for the rest of your pathetic lives. As long as you’re saving wisely, then I see nothing wrong with reaping the benefits of living at home. I bet that when she does move she’ll better financially better off than the lot of you.

Disregard ppl saying you can’t give advice if you’re still home! While it feels better to hear from someone in the same shoes, the tips you gave are still very beneficial. There are 40-50 year olds who own homes who never even considered a bank account with no card linked to it, so there is definitely some take aways in your video that can be helpful to anyone.

I tell my students all the time to use this time at home to save so when you move out you have a cushion. And if you’re able to, stay home until you’re actually buying a home. Great advice I’m proud of you. I wish I had this mindset when I was still at home. But I thank God its never too late

I just saved 11k in 9 months i make 3200 a month I'm able to save 1250 a month and live on one check to pay rent food and bills very tough but I live frugal I so did uber eats on the side to pay bills early and get ahead I get bi weekly pay
