ATACS FG totally reminds me of the Rebel camouflage from Return of the Jedi!

Everyone knows A-Tacs FG has been around since the late 1980's. The Rebels in Return of the Jedi wear it on Endor.

The ATACS FG to my eye looks something like the WWII German Sumpfmuster pattern, though maybe with edges blurred a little more.

I know this is an older video, but the topic is still valid. I own the Propper Atacs FG battle shirt & this summer while wearing it during an airsoft game I had huge success staying concealed. I had members of the opposite team stare right at me or should I say 'through" me & never spot me. I wasn't laying flat on the ground. I was kneeing down in some medium grass while looking back at the three of them and they never saw me until it was too late for them. I got a triple kill from 25ft away!

The ATACS FG pattering is a modern day World War II pacific camo with mud on. It looks great I love it. I have three sets myself. I think the Marine Corps should use this as a modern day traditional pattern from the days of island hopping to remember the Pacific West Coast, United States, Marine

The ATAC fg looks like a magnified faded/blened Multicam.

I've run both and atacs fg with ranger green gear will make you disappear. I speak from experience having a few guys walk right past me.

Awesome, thanks for the review. The ATAC FG camo looks like worn multicam, perfect. Do you also have a shirt? A video complete with your Multicam gear would be nice.

I'm getting back in shape to re-enlist. The motivation you got playing in the background would be very helpful, where can I find it?

Multicam is to light for swedish woodland. A-tacs better for me

im a huge fan of ATACS FG because i feel that it would be the best for a Pennsylvania environment. The thing is though that i already have a bunch of coyote brown gear, would it clash to the point where the camo would no longer be effective?

@MrMopply its always nice to see new camo out there. bdu worked pretty well (woodland) but it can get old after a while. new flavors ya know

Atacsfg looks like bdu's after being dragged through sand.

You should know that most issued gear is sourced by either Propper or Atlanco!

I think woodland atacs will be the best because it is basically multicam with blurred edges which is multicams main falw, but theyre both really awesome camos

weapons, gear, tactics, camo. they change. the moment we let our selves get comfortable. is when we get left behind in the dust.

i dont know to keep using woodland or switch to A-TACS FG

Grey pants and greener tops (FG or MC) work well simulating woodland foliage and browns and greys of the forest floor.

I'd have to disagree, though The AOR camo system looks good, it still has those definitive little squares that stand out, the Atacs pattern takes organic shapes and completely blends in with nature. I'd compare the AOR system
with something like MARPAT or CADPAT.

Just a note here for uber-serious airsofters or warriors around the world.
If anyone you know uses Nightvision gear you'll show up like a white light under IR when wearing anything made with Polyester in it. Watchout for cheap military clothing, go with NIR compliant.
However, for casual airsofters you shouldn't have to worry about that though.

On Topic however, I prefer Multicam for it's near-universal abilities. Not perfect in Cement Urban though.
