I was at the Nike store inside of Central world in Bangkok Thailand yesterday and the place was absolutely mobbed with shoppers. And those shoes aren’t cheap even here. The Nike store is absolutely gorgeous by the way.

My spouse is already panicking, so many questions! will the rate cut lead to inflation? I'm very worried about my $1million stock portfolio losing value. Do i move to 100% cash? What strategies should I be employing in my portfolio right now?

I just want my money to keep growing faster than inflation. That’s why I’m looking for companies to invest my retirement savings of $250K I have sitting in the bank. I just don’t know the best strategies to use to make solid gains with steady cash flow.

The U.S. economy can actually get better if only the govt can start making better decisions for the sake of it's citizens, cos' they've really made life more difficult for its residents. Hyperinflation has left the less haves bearing the brunt of the burden. Its already eating into my entire $620k retirement portfolio. Like where else can we invest our money with less risks?

You cant have in-store releases and lines around the corner for jordans without a store, but the more expensive sneakers are, the easier it is to resell stolen pairs.

Nike has completely mishandled Caitlin Clark. Signed her for $28 million and have done nothing with her since she went Pro. Came out with some statement that was complete BS about her being a rookie and some such blah, blah, blah. Management and marketing are doing a lot of double dribbling cause they are not taking the shots.

Gee, invoking "Pricing Power" (price gouging) while holding wages down is bad?

I wonder, if the port strikes will make groceries more expensive that people will opt to eat out despite the already high prices of places like starbucks and McDonalds. It might be hard to get a dinner for less than 20 dollars one way or the other. Big food chains I believe have their own domestic food suppliers. I think McDonalds for example even owns their own huge farms for all of those potatoes needed for their french fries. But the stuff coming in off the boats are what's going on the grocery store shelves.

Jim's CEO interviews are canned ham. They've obviously memorized a corporate sales pitch.

Inflation is far more harmful to individuals than a collapsing stock or property market because it directly affects people's cost of living, which they immediately feel. It is not surprising that the current market sentiment is extremely pessimistic. In today's economy, assistance is critical if we are to survive.
