Hi guys and welcome to the first installment of my Arduino midi 2 cv gate circuit tutorial. As I mention in the video this is not the only method building a midi 2 cv gate , but rather what I have used and what has worked (ish) for me.

HI, great build, the reason the pitch is not holding it's because you are using a breadboard, which is noisy, try to solder it to a perfboard.

Hi Adamski A. Just came back to building my circuit after a short break.
I hear you had a similar problem with this version of Arduino MIDI to CV as I'm having right now which is that it doesn't hold pitch...have you found a solution to it? If so, could you please share it?
Thank you very much Adamski A!! Great to have you here on YouTube. :)

Is there a capacitor in the DAC to smooth rising or falling voltages/ bent notes? Could it be the cause of the drift? Although I don't see any caps on your breadboards.

Well, I don't know much about all this stuff. Not much at all. But I once heard that with things like this, you have to tune your CV. And that is done with an oscilloscope. This being 2 years old, I hope you figured it out by now but I could imagine putting aside a project for that long Lol.

micro farad capacitors to smooth out the signals may solve your problem
