Delft is one of the cities that still has the old buildings from the gold age, its a beautiful city and for every new dutch guy a quick way to learn about our history and culture

Fun fact about the crooked church: it actually has a "fold" halfway. As they built it in various phases (between approx 1200-1300 ad) and the leaning began right away, it was already crooked when they built the top part. They figured they had to build straight up, causing the fold in the tower. After that, it started leaning even more so also the top part is crooked. If you view it from the side, you'll see it.

My mother lived basicly in delft for most of her life and she always loved it! But then she moved with my father but we still love it alot so my family goes to delft basicly every month!
And I love all of the beautiful buildings like stadhuis or the churches. It's just so amazing!

You should be in Delft on Koningsdag, as that is the one day the Oude Kerk (the big church) actually uses it megaclock (it doesn’t use it the rest of the year because the vibrations of the clock are actually too heavy for the old tower, it’d collapse)
