I hope Kittyhawk kits are rereleased in their name or someone else that got the molds..I fancied their 1/48 Fury and a few others before they sank.Ive got Kittyhawks 1/32 F-86D and K and they look very nice kits..
I hope you enjoy the build and in a good salute to your relative who has passed on..

I built the Vietnam version. That plane has quite a history. That kit is fiddly but doable. Lots of dry fitting. And puting the wings, tail section, the stabilizer is a trick. Is a great kit when assembled. Best of luck. Not a easy one.

Very sorry for your family loss Phil. Alas I haven't been about lately (I'm a Flory Models member), but I'll certainly be looking out for the build of this one. You are correct...this is a "cool" airframe. I might indeed have to add it to my "to build list" (if I can purge the taste of the last Kitty Hawk kit from my palette). Sorry to hear that Phil. Kittyhawk also built probably one of the most accurate UH1D/H. Something that is bewilderingly missing on the shelves. I don't think it's so much the OV10 that is cool, more the people and the missions they flew, in particular as FACs in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia etc. I also remember seeing them lined up at the Saudi naval air station near Jubayl at the start of Desert shield/storm/Op Granby. Some airframe😎

One thing to work on in your video production is to pause just a moment longer on the color pages. I've noticed that you always rush through them and view them a bit too quickly so you can move on to the sprues.

I miss KittyHawk, to be honest, just because they brought us two new Voodoo-kits. But they also brought us subjects that nobody else did.

It's old school modelling, don't get me wrong I just love the kits of today they are fantastic but I think we've been spoiled some times I love doing older kits because it gives you a challenge to fix the problems with it.
