In Australia, the median house price is $900, 000. The median salary is $65, 000.

Please do this same breakdown for renters as well. It seems to be the same problem, especially in CA. Where once you could move out of your parent’s house & rent as soon as you wanted, basic rent is so more of a person’s take home income now.

Not in NYC, where the median house costs 12X the median annual income! And you would still have to repair that house 😂.

I always loved the image in my head lf having beautiful wife by my side, children, house and a garage. Doing stuff around the house, working on cars with my kids.. but tbh who can really afford that?

I dont want if to ruin myself. Tbh id rather have the money invested and just do things i love like buying my dream car, playing guitar or watching motorsports.

Dont get fooled into the „you need a house or apartament because its good investement” mindset. I cant convince my friends its not true

One consideration to have is that houses now have better insulation, electrical, plumbing, internet etc. (or at least they’re supposed to if the builders aren’t cutting corners) so all else being equal houses would still be more expensive. That’s not to say that houses are affordable right now because they’re clearly not, but the situation isn’t as simple as it may seem from the surface.

No, it’s the avocado toast and Starbucks that’s holding people back…😂

Thus video is what i needed. I want to leave pharmacy. I've been trying to get another job since i enjoy some aspects of pharmacy, but i havent been successful nor will the pay ever really catch up as i see the profession decline.

I will be looking to start YT back up since there's uncapped potential there. 🤞

Get used to it folks. This is a problem we will never fix. It will only get worse.

My parents bought a house in iowa for $15000 in 1970. Today it is worth $79000.

Houses are not the same as 40 years ago. They are way way bigger now and the population was like 225million in 1980 population is somewhere around 360 million currently. Its not a boomer conspiracy or some magical mystery

Its not about cutting out coffee, its about the mindset someone needs to have

one thing he fails to point out. No one wants to buy a starter home like those built 40 years ago. They want a 3000 sq ft starter home.
