I fitted one of these recently. It was well priced from the web. I saw a great variance in price. It is very easy to fit. It is super simple to operate - the prime reason I tried it, as the customer wanted a controller that is *easy to use.* The customer uses it just like a stat, not bothering to use the timer part - yet. It also has _Opentherm_ which is a great advantage, and something not usually seen in products in this price category. Opentherm is _well worth_ connecting up. Personally I am not too fussed on its looks, but its not that bad - the likes of Heatmisers look far better.

Customer is a happy bunny and took to the simple control of it straight away.

Hi Allen very helpful, I want your advice on this thermostat when I set a certain temperature for example 26 degree the thermostat does not go beyond 20 degree what might be the reason behind it I have bleed the radiators and reset the thermostat still no change can you let me know if there is some things else that I should look into Thanks in advance

I saw this for sale at around 50 pounds or so. Considering it has OpenTherm, that is one hell of a deal for an RF thermostat/timer. I will give it a go. It is simple for the user to understand which is the major selling point. It would be nicer if it was more square with a leading edge design, like how Heatmisers look - design costs nothing more in materials. Reliability? The jury is out on that. But you have to compare it with the similar products in the same price range like those awful Salus stats.

Had this installed. Where do boiler control need be. Water only or water/heating etc. Anything else should know i.e on off button on boiler. Also how do I set for 7 days (copy) on thermostat. Thank you

I bought an EPH R17 timer switch today, we wired it up 2 neutrals in one, 1 live & 1 zone 1 plus a loop wire going from live to zone 1 but the boiler is constantly staying on, what have we done wrong please

Just had my worcester greenstar i installed 2 weeks ago and the red light on the eph control is permanently on. I watched your video on how to set the program times but it seems to come on when it feels like it. I have heat first thing in the morning at the time I set it then it turns off - again at the time I set it to turn off, but the time I set for it to come back on again it never does. So we have no heat all day and all night until the 1hr it is set to come on for in the morning. And the red light stays permanently on. If I press the manual button on the eph it comes on briefly for about 30secs then turns off. I'm at my wits end!! I called the company and they said its to do with the programme settings and they referred me to your video. I followed it step my step but the flame does not come on. The hot water is not affected. I've checked the pressure and it's fine. Help please

i dont get it, for 230V control, the L goes to COM and also the link goes to ON ? or the Link cable is connected to COM and on ON there is a different cable (remaining terminals on boiler are 1 and N)
