How To Play The Price By Twisted Sister - Guitar Lesson - Eddie Ojeda - Dee Snider - Jay Jay French

In this video I demonstrate how to play the song The Price by Twisted Sister. The song features two beayuiful and melodic guitar solos by Eddie Ojeda....one in the intro and one mid song. I show how to play both solos as well as all the rhythm parts for the entire piece of music. I also provide tips on how to get the right sound and tone for the song. Twisted Sister was the first cancert I ever attended....I was only 14, and it was at Broome County Arena win Binghamton, NY... back in the early 80's for the Stay Hungry tour. They shot the video for the Price that evening and it forever immortalized that important moment for me on video. Twisted Sister were the band responsible for making me want to be a guitar player and musician. They were a force to reckon with in the 80's, and to this day I would say were one of the best bands live from their era. Dee Snider wrote some great songs on Stay Hungry and the band were certainly at their prime on the record. It brings me pleasure to finally present this lesson on the channel. I hope you enjoy it. I remember buying Stay Hungry after hearing I Wanna Rock and discovering this song sitting in my room playing the cassette at 17 years old. Great memories of a great song and great album, its about time i learn it on guitar Lol That step and a half bend is an attention grabber. Thanks for making this so much fun.

Another great break down. The use of Tab's is great for beginners, but the key is you also give the Theory behind what's going on. This is something I skipped when I started, and Regret it.
The reaction video with Eddie is a must, that will be informative, but Funny as hell as well...

Crazy you mentioned Broome Co Arena. Drove down from Syracuse area in 87 to see Crue there on the Girls tour. I always loved Eddie’s Charvels.

I saw the Stay Hungry tour at the Pier in NYC with Ratt and Lita Ford. People were going nuts after the show, chairs flying everywhere it was crazy! I have a dvd where Eddie goes into detail about this song and some others.

Thought Eddie was always just an average player he was good but nothing really that stood out sounds like about a thousand other players that I heard before. No offense anyone that thinks that he's great but I just don't see it....
