You know it’s a crazy trade when every nba player is giving their thoughts on it

I like when he said "Nobody's safe. Maybe that's how it should be." it shows that he doesn't play like he's safe and that's why he's the best player, its his job and he's going to perform and that's all that matters.
I even like his comments on Luka being the right player for the "big scene". It shows that Jokic very much understands the world and NBA media, but simply has no desire to engage with it beyond his own professional obligations. I also do agree on that take.

Class act, giving Luka space to process everything

"Pleasure like always."

Jokic says nonchalantly at the end of his interview, fulfilling his contractual obligation to do media.

Jokic is simply a class act. It was awesome seeing how happy he was when he won Bronze for Serbia. Denver does not understand how fortunate they are.

“And probably should be that way”
Thats why he Is the greatest, he knows that you can’t get comfortable and slack off when you want to be a champion.

If every NBA player was like Jokic on a personal level and as a competitor the league’s ratings wouldn’t be tanking

I never understood reporters who use large, obscure words towards players who speak English as a second or third language.

Reporter: *"Mindaugas Šaulys, given the stochastic nature of your team’s defensive permutations, how do you reconcile the kinetic disparities between your transitional play and the equipoise necessary for sustained strategic efficacy, as espoused by your coach's methodological predilections?"*

Mindaugas: *"Uhhhh... we playt goot."*

This is why I don't get mad at players asking to be traded. Teams do what they want

As a European i find this so strange. In football(soccer) a player has a contract for a certain amount of years. If he sits out his contract he can leave the club for free. But if the club wants to sell him during this contract they can agree a deal with another club, but the player still has to agree. Sure clubs have their ways to force players out. But players do have a lot more power here when it comes trades/transfers. It just seems so weird that as an nba player you can all of a sudden find out that you and your family will have to move their whole lives to another state or city.

This Luka trade must be the CRAZIEST trade in sports history. Everyone on the media talking about it. Every player talking about it. Everyone was still in shock and its been 3 days. It just doesn't make any sense to trade the guy who will probably will be the next face of the NBA after LeBron retires.

Maybe it makes sense. The NBA wants the next face of the league to be a Laker... in a big market.... convenient for LeBron to pass the torch. It was all planned by the NBA.
