This is so true. When you know who you are, you don't need ANYONE to agree with you. This is how one knows who's 'serious' about their journey and not just winging it.

I didn’t see Kylie as a threat for the crown…. Until she was. And she so deserves it.

It’s awful that people think she won because she’s a trans woman. She won because she’s a winner. I don’t think rpdr really needs the extra publicity, do you?

Knowing what I know because I am a drag entertainer, the shows hit different. At one point I did have dreams of being on some of them, then my mom and dad both told be what happens, then I became friends with an amazing individual who was on one of those shows and my dreams of being that person changed drastically.

Just a friendly reminder that no one needs to “earn” the respect of anyone else for preferred pronouns to be used. It’s not rude to ask or remind people to use the pronoun(s) you prefer. It *is* rude to purposely call someone by the wrong pronoun just because you don’t respect or don’t like them, though.

“Bitch I earned my pronouns” say it again for those in the back! 👏🏼 👏🏼

"I earned my pronouns" what does that even mean. People will correct you on "misgendering" a dog but a trans person has to "earn" the right to be referred to correctly? Like good for her but this statement is wack.

TBH I did not expect her to win for the fact that yes she was on long ago at her drag at the time wasn’t up to par of what it is now. I did underestimate her for that fact. Till I started seeing her maybe till around episode three is when I realized that this queen is on that level if not up a few notches more.

Did you hear that? She earned her pronouns! You can’t demand respect! It’s earned. Being a bully no matter what/ who you identify as won’t be tolerated!

I understand the whole I earned my pronouns. But like with everything I would hope future generations didn’t struggle like past ones. Of course they need to be educated to understand what is now a right used to be a privilege. To be grateful and not taking it for granted because there will be hateful people trying to undo the work previous generations did for those rights. But I wouldn’t look at someone younger and say you don’t get to have those pronouns until you’ve fought and earned them. Because that then means they’re still a privilege, not a right.

what does she mean that she earned her pronouns? do pronouns have to be earned? are there some people who dont deserve the proper pronouns? power to her but that just rubs me the wrong way

The earning the pronouns part is a big deal. Freaking out from not being called what you want when you dont at all look like it is a bit much.

Kylie "We didn't just get to walk around and just use whatever pronouns and do whatever, We had to earn our pronouns"

You had to earn your pronouns so the rest of us didn't have to, thanks for doing the work but it's shitty, negative, and outdated mentality and thoughts like that that are keeping the gay community in the past
