This place not only offers authentic Gujarati delicacies but also a glimpse and feel of a real Gujarati village. This is Vishalla in Ahmedabad, a restaurant serving the essence of Gujarat under one roof, since 1978.
Vishalla welcomes you with their warm hospitality and the old village charm. Thatched roofs, mud houses, dining on the floor…the aesthetics of this place immediately set us into a traditional Gujarati village. But the highlight of this place is the dining experience. Sitting on the traditional cots or khatiyas, you are served scrumptious Gujarati delights by their hospitable staff. You can enjoy varieties like Farsaan, Aam panna, Rotli, Ringan no olo, Jalebi and so much more! Everything here is served on leaf plates and dronas making this a traditional and environment friendly experience. Along with the dining, you can also explore the interactive surroundings here. Vishalla is home to one of the Biggest Utensil Museum in India. The evening here showcases the rich heritage of Gujarat from the various shows and performances. The museum, the havelis, Gaushala and the temples make this a completely immersive experience.

Hallo sweeta vishala is my childhood memories my moms brother use to stay there, now its totally change makeover done at night the view is totaly different with bajra jowari ki bhakri khichdi kadhi with desi pure ghee and the food is exceptional tasty and yummy flavors please enjoy thali 😋😋😋😋😋❤

i was born and brought up in amdavad then i mmigrated to nairobi; kenya then living in usa since 20 years but when visiting amdavad every 3/5 years i always visit and eat my favrite food like at vishala; ateethi near judhes bunglow; das khaman; law garden and manek chachak night food bazar; laxmi

Sorry it was started in 1978 and I had experienced this place in 1979 and dinner for Rs.25, which was big amount that time. Because that time my hostel food bill for 1 month was Rs.95 only.
