SWTOR PTS – Previews of the Galactic Seasons 2 Rewards

The expansion has been pushed back to February 15, 2022 but we got to preview the new rewards on the test server! Take a look in the gallery below for the new weapons and mounts.

Season 2 should start February 15th, these rewards are not in a completed state.

They did indeed up their game with this galactic season. Some of it is actually worth it to grab

The less flashy versions of the weapons look really nice. Especially for the lightsabers, there's been an incredible drought of new hilts added for years and years that don't have some built in weird animations, blades that are really thin for some reason, the hilt is weirdly bulky etc

Judging from how popular a lot of the ones added over the years with the crossguard blades, draw animations and modified blades are, I'm clearly in the minority but I just want nice hilts with no extra bits and a blade that's a standard length and thickness. Like 90% of the hilts I use to this day are ones where the model has been available since launch, or since around RotHC

I just hope named weapons won't be bound to companion. Kinda dissapointed previous sniperrifle is bound to companion.

Cross guards that can be usd instead of being dangerous to the user. Nice.

I use the Cartel Market drop down to test dyes sometimes. So you don't have to have them on you when checking how armor dyes.

Those crossguards are rad. That's all I've been asking for from the concept for seven years

The crossguard is slightly bigger on the subscriber versions vs the free to play

That sniper rifle is perfect for my sniper. Will definitely be working to get that. All in all the rewards are looking much better this time.

The galactic seasons rewards are definitely better, the only thing I liked in the first season rewards were the batmobile mount, one of the lightsabers (the gold one) and the rifles and pistols (cause they looked like old fashioned guns), everything else wasn't bad but wasn't interesting either. These are better, still not really excited to get any of them but more than last time, weapons are definitely an improvement and the main mount is cool (I'm wondering if the colour changes or not, cause that would be really cool to have it in a purple or red colour), the armour is where it is still lacking for me, I just don't have any interest in it, there's just way better armour on the gtn that I can get or in my collections, there's just nothing that grabs my attention with then or that looks unique.
Honestly I'm more excited about the new cartel armour, which I've been wanting since the KOTFE came out and I would have been excited for the opal mount if they hadn't made it almost impossible to get, been wanting a new one of those for years and then they make it a random give away item, that just annoyed me (that would have been an instant buy from the cartel market no matter the price from me so it's money they've lost).

I wish they would put companions with actual story in these, like so you can actually talk to them at your ship or at your stronghold. I would also love if they added some expansion to normal companions like this, just make it the kotor style so you save on main character voice acting but let us talk to them more, such an unlock would be amazing :( Besides that it looks great, I like the stuff you can earn this time, but still I think a lot of people would appreciate earnable expansions to companions and such more, even if they are small.

I've still been waiting for an elegant and sleek curved hilt. There are 2 curved hilts in the game. One has been since launch and just isn't quite right and the other is twisted fang and its too sectioned in its look.

I do like the new armor sets, i didnt finish last season, didnt find the rewards all that. But this one i could see myself doing all the way through.

Damn it! I didn't want to like the looks of any of these rewards... you know so I could justify not bothering with grinding through season 2 like I did with season 1 (I liked most of the rewards from that, especially the blaster pistols... I've always had a thing for revolvers). Looks like I'll be doing another grind of group activities that I can't stand... yay.

Im already more interested in this one than the previous...hopefully there will be more time to complete it, not everyone is rich or have a lot a free time. I also hope they will update the other merchhants with more of the no longer available promo or event items, pets, mounts etc...
I know Im kind of obsessed with it, but if they bring back the AC-PT walker, theyll have my subscription for life.

I am not sure about alot of the Latest Lightsaber Designs unless their Purpose is to ad more Weight to the Strikes to make them Harder to Block
