IF I COULD ONLY KEEP 10 EYESHADOW PALETTES | *Update* We have some good ones here!

Hi friends! I'm back with an updated version of if I could only keep 10 eyeshadow palettes! I loveee making these videos and really thinking about what 10 I would keep and why. Hope you enjoy! :)

Girl! The Huda Obsessions Light is my go to pallete as well! Even though not a popular way to use a shimmer, I use the purple-ish shimmers to deepen the look up in the outer v of the eye ❤. Great pallete to apply w fingers tho when pressed for time, on the go, or travel!

It's nice seeing the ones that stood the test of time for ur skintone and preferences. Glad u had a colorful palette in there! I'm the opposite. Mostly color, barely any neutrals, lol.

I'm a light-med w a yellow undertone, so I find my favs have little overlap w the YouTubers I watch. Judy prob has the closest skin and undertone, but she loves mauves while I hate them. 😅

If I could only keep 10 (not my fav 10 tho), mine would be:

1) CP quad She's A Natural

The most perfect neutral mattes for my skin and undertone. It's only been a few months and I use this so much (on its own everyday or as a companion palette). I have tried and looked for the perfect transition shades, but these beat them all. I already had got a backup, but went on eBay (bc discontinued) and bought 3 more before they'd be impossible to find. 💪🏼

2) CP Wanna Bee

Very often used spring-summer neutral-w-a-twist palette that looks esp nice on my skin+undertone.

3) OE Red Dragon

My fav fall-winter neutral-w-a-twist palette that also looks esp nice on my skin+undertone.

4) Essence Coral Me Maybe

This is a the perfect mini peach palette.
Perfect depth range and matte/shimmer ratio. Extremely travel friendly w great packaging and mirror.

5) Melt Gemini I

YouTube vids do not show the yellow undertones of this that make it so unique. Green is my fav eyeshadow color, esp olive, so this is a perfect half neutral, half color palette for me.

6) OE Norn's

So colorful, versatile, and unique. My colorful winter palette.

7) BH Lost in LA

I love these almost neon pastels. For when I feel like a unicorn. 🦄

8) BH Trendy in Tokyo

Perfect companion palette to Lost in LA for depth. The rainbow palette I need for any primary or secondary color. I only wish the darkest blue and purple were mattes.

9) BH Pistachio

I love my spring and forest greens. 😍

10) Adept x Heather Austin

A concise color story of amazing multichromes/duochromes, reg shimmers, and mattes.


11) Glamlite Dirty Martini

One of my fav palettes, but I already had olives in Gemini and Gemini's yellow undertones are really unique.

12) BH Bubblegum

One of my Top 10 Favs, but I chose Tokyo for Top 10 Keeps bc it it has the colors I'm missing in the other 9. I love how blues look on me, but I wear greens more, so I also chose Pistachio, which has spring and forest greens that Gemini doesn't have.

13) OE Hummingbird

Also a Top 10 Favs, but I had Tokyo for color but couldn't see moving any of the others without sacrificing the balance of color, utility, and versatility. 😭 I don't like that 12 and 13 both have the dark matte blues I'm missing in 1-10. I love the unique, dark, matte purple in this palette too for deepening. The shimmers are so opaque....and the multichrome is so pretty! But I couldn't give up the mutichromes in the Heather Austin palette. 😭

I finally saw the PM Diamond of the first Water palette for the first time today at my local Sephora. Quality seemed great but I wasn’t interested in the colour story. Many hugs

I don't own many neutrals but I bought that's taupe recently and I'm so weirdly excited to try it 😂 normally I wear dark, bold, and/or saturated colour
I would have to think what my only 10 would be (but I know they'd all be colourful since I haven't received that's taupe yet)

Ufff the that’s taupe palette is AMAZING, love those tones on my, and the formula is the best. I actually did a mix of this one a the making mauves, still in the 9 pan palette and I take it everytime a go out of town, my absolute go-to. Just added some of the purpuly shimmer and one matte

It's always interesting for me to watch the palette rankings and favourites videos. ❤️ It reminds me how individual the make up experience is. I quite like some of these (Huda, ND Glam), I've also decluttered some (Pat), and the others haven't even grabbed my attention enough to get them (Patrick Ta, ABH, Colourpop, ND Mini Nude, Oden's Eye). 😅 Non of my favourites made it. 🙃 But I enjoyed it nonetheless. 👍🏻😄

Today was the last day of 25% off from ABH I have almost all her palettes and Norvina ´s also that I don’t need more so I just kept my eyes out of the internet because I know my debilitating for makeup and I have a lot seating in my makeup room without opening 🙈and many more in my shopping cart 🛒 from Sephora and ulta Holly Molly! I would keep my BH Cosmetics Naughty palette (the mattes are just incredible), and my Viseart neutral mattes 01 (use use this constantly for both eyes and face). I would also keep the BH Royal Affair palette because even though its so old, I've been meaning to dupe the colors with singles, since the color story is so fantastic.

Beyond those Id have to think about it. Though im sure id include a Sydney Grace palette in there.

The ABH palette swatches look great. I love smokey eyes. I would switch the Natasha Denona Glam palette for the Sydney grace Enduring love palette though. Similar tones, but more variety, and the Sydney Grace Mattes are better than ND imho, which makes the whole palette superior quality, and its cheaper than the ND i think 🤔. The Natasha Denona mini Gold is gorgeous though; the quality of the shimmers is outstanding, even within her own brand.

I gave away my that’s taupe palette and kept my Natasha denona glam palette and I kind of regret it. I think I actually like that’s taupe more than Glam but because the glam palette was so expensive I felt like I had to keep it haha.
