holy shit...that is a LOT of hard work and dedication. I wanted to cry just listening to all the steps and hours...btw I looked up "pediatrician annual salary in NYC" and it showed up "the average physician-Pediatric salary in New York, NY is $236, 110 as of September 28 2018" "but the range typically falls between $205, 738-$282, 265" so is this not true?? or what

Some great advice I got when picking careers was that if you see yourself being happy doing something else, take that path. If you don't see yourself being happy doing anything else, then the sacrifices will be worth it. I love my career as a pediatrician and think it was worth it!

Omg loved this! Started playing doctor when I was 3 and in 4th grade knew that I wanted to be a pediatrician. Throughout my middle and high school career, I took opportunities in medical clinics and emergency departments. Now I have graduated high school and plan to get my certification as a Medical Assistant to work while I go for my bachelors degree and then hoping it will look good when I go to apply for medical school! Super passionate about becoming a pediatrician. Just praying I can make it through all those exams😱

I'm a sophomore in high school and for a couple of years now, I have desired to become a pediatrician! The only problem is that sometimes I feel I'm not smart enough. I have a high GPA but I'm only in 10th grade and math isn't my favorite/best subject. Although, I LOVE biology and anatomy/physiology and my grades are good in that class. So, I'm very stressed and would love some support. Also, senior year I am planning to double up in science and most of my AP classes/honor classes are all in language which is my strong suit. But, I love children, anatomy, biology etc and I really want to become a pediatrician at a clinic
