In epilepsy data analysis, magnetoencephalography (MEG) plays an increasingly important role. Interictal discharges (spikes) can be localized with greater accuracy compared to EEG. However, analysis is hampered by the large number of channels, and data distortion by EKG/ECG artifacts.
