I was actually surprised how much pop this board has and how well it holds an edge on hard /icy conditions, you can really lay it over on its side. I found, as others have said, that putting the front binding towards the nose makes it feel a little more balanced on harder snow. And in deeper powder, that large nose and slight rocker in the middle really helps pop you back up to the surface whereas I feel something with regular camber in the middle, won't do as well.

How is the Orca compared to that Bataleon Goliath in the back? I’m currently riding the Goliath but need something more grippy for the East/Ice Coast.

I have always ridden a wider board because of a size 12 boot. I wonder what the board would feel like if I did not downsize from a 162.
