No, buying all of those when you have no purpose for them is the wrong decision.

The iPad while it functions more an iPhone, the main reason you buy it is because of the screen & the ease of use of the operating system. I’ve had 3, I mainly use it to watch videos & entertainment, there is no device out there that beats it for that specific purpose. You might say that you can do the same on your laptop or iPhone, but here’s the thing, as good as the screen on the iPhone is, 5 to 6 inches is too small to appreciate the details that go on a lot of content today. There’s a reason why the standard for a TV today is 4K 55” and not 8k at 25”. The laptop does help with the screen size but it’s shape makes it cumbersome to move around with it.

The Apple Watch is a great companion and no it’s not running the same software as an iPhone, you’re just trying to trigger people. The main reason to buy an Apple watch is if A. You actually wear/like watches and B. If you want a workout pedometer that better integrates with your phone.

So, don’t be a child who lives based on attention and just buy things just because other people have it. Buy it with purpose and you’ll never regret making that purchase.

Apple is never gonna allow macOS on an iPad. That would kill the macbook market for them. But I'm all for that they really turn up the volume and get cranking on the iPad OS. Wwdc was a joke for ipadOS 18 they gave us a calculator lol

I have the iPhone, iPad, AirPods, Apple Pencil, and a keyboard for my iPad (since I’m a writer) and I got all except the phone and pencil for dirt cheap/hand me downs so I think that’s all you really need

I use my iPad as an additional screen, plus with it having a data connection, it doesn’t bog my phone down when I need to connect my MacBook to my internet.

Added the watch, depending on what field you are in, works good for me since majority of the time I can’t be on my phone, but still need to see important messages. Also great walkie talkie feature.

Its hilarious, im an android user, yet i keep on getting apple products without even buying them. With the exception of my mac mini, i got an apple watch series 8, ipad air 1, iphone 7, iphone 5 and iphone 4. None of which i have used as my main phone
