“It is like Windows search but completely opposite, it(macOS) actually finds what you are looking for” 😂hahahahahah I just can’t stop laughing at this.

I can relate as I had spent my whole life unable to find what I’m looking for with Windows search🤣

After some delays, I'm finally setting up my MacBook tomorrow - it's my first Mac in 20(!) years, so I'm coming in completely blind lol. I really appreciate videos like these, hopefully it'll make the transition a bit smoother!

That installation method is so... peculiar. They could've asked "Install? Yes/No" but no, they make you drag and drop an icon as if you were solving a puzzle or a captcha.

Have to say, this is one of the most hillarious but also explanatory tech videos i ve seen. I was already smiling a bit here and there but when i saw the “Stop reading my folder names!” I laughed out loud. Kudos man

Very nice tutorial. I learned a few new things that I'll have to try. Instead of cmd + m to minimize, you can use cmd + h to hide an application. Then when you cmd + tab to the app, all your windows of that application show up. If you hold the option key when you hover over the red/yellow/green buttons, you get alternate display options. You can make your app window fill the screen without it creating a whole separate desktop. I always put my Applications, Documents, and Downloads folders on the dock. I find them useful there. In the dock you can right-click on them to choose how you want them to display (I choose display as folder), and you can choose how you want to view their contents (I find "grid" and "list" more useful than "fan").

0:09, i see a new pattern on your videos 😂, been spotting them on each recent videos, nice spice to the videos “ for the people that manage to spot them “. Creative !.
Back on point, you always manage to teach us something new, even if we consider sometimes ourselves as experts. Excellent content as always 👌

Some addition to the video
1. Mos for fixing the natural scrolling (i can see that you already have it installed
2. Monitor control for handling brightness on external monitor
3. I don't like the screenshots on desktop. So i have modified the screenshots folder to a different folder.

I've been working from my MacBook using an iPad with sidecar. It's crazy functionality and I love it, but a little clunky if I wanna work on the couch. The three finger virtual desktop is a godsend for people who are used to multiple monitors.

There is actually a trackpad gesture to easily access your desktop, you actually do the opposite movement you do when opening Launchpad and you select it through trackpad settings
