Ok so this is for everyone that says it doessn't work: it does, you just use it wrong, what you want to do it make it spin when you throw it, it will creat a bit of a gyro force and keep it straight, also if you throw it you need to do it like in the vid, so throw it underhand and then let spin it by pulling your hand up while still making contect with the plane, this will make it spin and stabe, no need to thank me

To those who failed in getting theirs to fly. Did you wrap the ring with the rolled edge outward? It makes a difference. If it doesn't stay together, tape it. When I went to school, we made a similar design but folded the paper differently, and they flew quite the distance. I can't say this is the best paper airplane, though.

subject matter expert here (not really). Me and my dad would throw these when I was a kid. They will literally go an entire football field length off a simple throw. They make a hard plastic version of these called the X-Zylo. Look it up

In the early 70's we were high up in our hotel in LA and my brother flew a paper airplane that caught a draft and floated horizontal for several minutes, heading straight for a skyscraper that was under construction close to a mile away! We never discovered if it flew to any construction workers but it was memorable.
