As an American, I feel like if the Wonyoung Strawberry thing happeened in America, everyone would have mocked and laughed about it. It wouldn't have been taken seriously. It's super normal to make fun of celebrities. But since living here in Korea, I've noticed that you can barely tell a joke about a celebrity without getting crucified.

I do think the constant hate of her is ridiculous especially because she's so young But joking about it shouldn't be the end of the world.

Kinda feel like people only go after Shuhua because she’s kind of an easy target. She seems to have a very sarcastic and easygoing personality. This isn’t bad in fact I think it’s good but some people use past actions and jokes of hers to try and prove she’s a bad person. I’m not her fan but I’m sure if some other female idols who are a bit more popular acted like her they’d be called a queen. I don’t know it’s just kinda weird how people treat her.

i have noticed that after soojin got kicked out of cube ent. shuhua became more and more 'kinda angry ' i mean she got more sassy and ignorant
i am following gidle from a long time now and i know that shuhua is a little sassy from the beginning but after soojin got kicked out of the group (even tho the accusations were proved false, which is really sad ) she started NOT caring about people's opininion AT ALL and she even openly express it now
shuhua was emotionally really close to soojin and she pointed out many times publicly how important soojin was to her
maybe that's why shuhua is becoming like this now, maybe cause she doesn't take the industry's rules and standards super seriously now (after the unfair treatment of her close friend)

That shuhua one was so stupid.... They had that blanket for a reason. Their skirts were too short and tight so it got rolled up when sitting down. But since its under the cover of that blanket, she just left it rolled up that way. That's why she must adjust her skirt when standing up. Miyeon chose to hold the whole blanket while standing so that she did not need to adjust the skirt but Shuhua was clearly less prepared for standing up and was a little panic. But she still clapped. These people are just so bored that they would even made up these rumors and hurting people for fun..

Shuhua in the pink stage outfit. Her skirt was too short from the back and the front. There’s people below her and behind her so she has to cover herself to avoid weirdos. Though she didn’t clap, she stood up and that’s was the most she could do. For new jeans shuhua is one of the idols who is easy going and a smile is all that’s needed. New jeans as rookies have to constantly bow to their seniors throughout the award shows and she knows this first hand so her smile is telling her juniors “I know you have to bow but I know your tired” ( after one bow, if the senior bows the junior bow again and again and that’s tired-some) I hate that she’s a easy target for criticism due to her being laid back but people should actually know the idol before making assumptions

The Alice situation was so stupid. The girls were told by fans and staff to do aegyo. The members even said how cute it was to eat strawberries with two hands. Like international fans couldn’t even understand what the girls were saying but took the video as them hating on wy.
