Composed by the Austrian "King of Operetta" Maestro Robert Stolz. Actually he wrote it for the film "DIE DEUTSCHMEISTER" (Hungary 1934), then it was in the Hollywood version of it, entitled "SPRING PARADE" (with young DEANNA DURBIN) in the leading star role, and third film way made in Germany with Austrian cooperation "DIE DEUTSCHMEISTER". This opened with this song i a breathtaking scene of Austrian mountain, beautiful young girls running down the hill ans singing "WENN DIE VÖGLEIN MUSIZIEREN". The young ROMY SCHNEIDER had this song in the first scene of this famous film. That was the beginning of her world career. In 1964 the Wiener Volksoper had the World Premiere of the Operetta "Frühjahrsparade", music by Robert Stolz, who conducted not only the premiere but also innumerable performances over many years.
