I've not seen this edging before but love how, as you say, easy and quick trim and will definitely be using it once I've crocheted a whole pile of 6" squares together. I usually finish off large blankets with loop chains but your tutorial has made me make a Very fast decision of how to finish future blankets off. At the moment I have 111 squares, all in DK yarn, all knitted whilst travelling on buses or trains or in waiting rooms whenever I have appointments anywhere.
Once I even crocheted whilst sitting very close to the very talented, lovely Ricky Fontayne, when he was performing and I was unable to continue dancing to his 50s and 60s numbers when my right knee had become too painful.
I was so glad I'd crocheted my way in the bus to the venue and afterwards Ricky told me he'd never had anyone knit through his performance! I soon corrected him that the term was crochet.
After about 60 years I've decided to knit myself a jumper for myself and now I'm thinking that it would be good to actually knit if and when I next see Ricky
when he texts visits locally in the New Year.
Thankyou for inspiring me to be 'cheeky' but I'm sure Ricky will appreciate it!
Now all I have to do is find out what stitch pattern you used for the main part of your tutorial. ☺️ xXx
