Axians DevConf 2019: The Secret of Python Growth and Role in the Industry

Once a programming teacher was asked where is Python used, his answer was simple: “It’s basically everywhere. It’s super small, so it shows up on embedded devices and pretty much every server, ever”. I could not agree more, the growth of Python is indeed enormous. But how can an open-source, community-driven tool fight for the territory with commercial jumbo-monsters pushed by powerful corporations? Based on my work with Python for about a decade, I want to share my view of how Python change the industry.
