Origami Kimono - Paper Crafts - Paper Kimono

In this origami tutorial, I'll show you how to make an paper kimono. This is a fun, relatively easy paper craft that is not only cute, but it would also make a great addition to a blank greeting card (tada! instant DIY paper card!). I recommend using chiyogami paper, or some pretty patterned origami paper so that it will resemble the designs of a traditional kimono a little more. I used plain paper for this tutorial so that it is easier to see on the computer screen. :)

Have started working on my kimono, and have a quick question regarding the measurements for a paper that is larger than the 2" × 6". If for example you want to use a 4" × 12" or an 8"×24" where would our pencils marks be located?

Kimono was introduced to Japenise by Korean monk as funeral clothing in plain tan material color which Japenise copied it to make it into their own clothing with coloring because they had none.
