Time-lapse race engine rebuild

Hello everyone, because time is very expensive these days i couldn't upload full video of this build as would be many hours of work and probably the watching will became boring.
I have stripped out this engine 1 year ago and because i don't have much time finally i finish it this month, it was a hard work but i hope will worth, at the moment everything looks fine the engine runs smoth one it starts, the cold start it's a bit heavy but because we have new piston rings and machined pistons i suppose that's ok. The engine needs to be running in on low revs for about 1000 miles, at the moment it has just around 100 mile on and got no time to do it, so in the winter that will be done then hopefully the cold start should improve one the rings are settled.

Here i have writed down a list with almost everything i've spend in the rebuild of this engine :

These 1.9s sound surprisingly good, honestly. I have a friend who drives a straight-piped Mk 4 with the ALH engine, and it actually sounds really good. He's working on getting a proper exhaust to really dial in the tone.

quick tip, use the digital vernier upside down when making a height measurement (piston protrusion). trust me it works rather well

Just a machinists tip for measuring the distance from top of the piston to the deck with calipers, use the front of the calipers, instead of the depth-gauge... U can use the bigger surfaces on the front of the calipers (exactly opposite to the depth-measuring-rod) to measure shallow depths much more reliably...

I have built many engines including 1.8Ts but never a 1.9tdi, and I have never seen in the work instructions that you are to coat the head gasket with oil. That's a new one for me

Вместо разной мурни и смазок использовать моторное масло так как собирает завод и желательно бы использовать пластик гейдж зля зазоров измерения установочных.
