Sankofa 2019 Beyonce Dance -By Nya Iman

Sankofa is a Black history show that my school puts on every year. This year I had the privilege of being the lead choreographer for the show and I created a Beyoncé dance that I had been planning for the past 4 years. I’m so proud of everyone in this dance and am so happy that the dance came out amazing. I had a great time creating and performing this dance.

Beyoncé has always been a huge inspiration to me so I wanted to do a dance based on her songs and amazing tour performances. I hope one day I will dance with her on stage.
