Lemon trees do not tolerate temperatures below 32f or 0c and grow best in hot summers and mild winters. Lemon trees do not shed their leaves in winter they are ever green trees. They stay green all year long. The trees flower in spring, start forming fruit in summer and the fruit grows bigger by fall and it is ready to harvest throughout fall and most of winter. Not all lemons ripen at the same time. Keep picking lemons throughout fall and winter. The tree is ready to prune once the tree is picked clean. Lemon trees do like Full sun and lots of mulch to protect the roots.

Catching up on some of your older content Jag... You do a great job and I've really enjoyed everything watched so far. I've had issues in the past, but pretty sure my soil is in much better shape nowadays (more nutrients & more porous). With that in mind, I'm ready to give it another shot. I bought a two citrus trees today (mexican lime & mandarin orange) and I'm hoping your tips along with my improved soil will help correct my failed citrus tree tries of years past. Cheers!

Jad love your channel, my favorite gardening channel to my my info for my garden. I have a request can you do a video on air layering for you fruit trees instead of pruning. I would love to see what you have to say about the subject. I’ve started on my pear and nectarine dwarf trees. Keep up the good work and thank you for the content.

How old is your lemon tree???
It looks magnificent!!
I have a lemon tree out back. Its 3 or 4 years old. Right now we are in our first month of autumn. We have 10 to 15 lemons on it. The fruit has been green since summer, so still waiting for it to turn yellow.
Thanks for the tips. Now i know how to look after this tree.
