It's just missing so much. For 52K it should have acoustic glass, rear climate control, moon roof, real leather seats, 5 seater, power front passenger seat, Iconic drive 27 color changing ambient lighting and available SH-AWD. All of those are standard or available on all other Acuras.

I agree with giving consumers what they want, but in reality, most will not be able to afford it. Especially after dealer markups.

I was on the list for Type S at msrp but now I’m reconsidering and might go for the GR Corolla circuit edition

At $52k with dealer markups will be $60k. Insane for a car that is missing rear Ac vents, power passenger seat and ventilated seats. Not even memory seats 😂. Golf R with DCT and AWD beats it.

No Production FWD 4-cylinder is worth $50, 000 in my opinion... My AWD dc5 build costed me $30, 000 total, and is 600whp, has full Bilstein damptronic adjustable suspension with ride height adjustment, Fuel Tech, Built PPG helical syncro transmission with Quaife LSD, and a 9500rpm redline k20/24 with a built engine with fuel flex fuel capabilities. AND its comfortable with electric Air Condition and Power steering as well as fully sound deadened! You complain about luxury? Who is buying a manual Type S for only luxury? You can add luxurious amenities to any car.. Leather seats, Bluetooth infotainment, all the electronic bells and whistles.. You dont need to pay $50, 000 + markup for them.. Screw that..

Ahh, here we go again. Y'all lamented over the price of the FL5 Type R, dealer are selling them BEFORE they even reach the show. Most of them are going for over $50k. $52k msrp for the Integra Type S, basically a more luxurious Type R is about what most persons expected. Y'all really expected it be going for 35k or 40k? Common sense alone dictates it was always going to be a couple thousand more than the Type R.

i just talked with a accura dealer here in california they want a 9 thousand dollar market ajustment for new integra type s before reservation so def paying 60k for it and other dealers will be doing usual 20 k markup for over 71k unfortunate honestly i was the only interested buyer and their was hardly anyone at the dealership i went to 😮‍💨

very hard to swallow $52K. I just don't see why someone would not stretch a little to get a BMW or mercedes. The M2 is only $65K and it's a whole nothr level.

51k for this care is madness. Many rear-wheel drive cars with more power are right around the same price.
