Aquadive Poseidon GMT Review - Great Tool Diver

I just received my Poseidon Aquadive. This is an impressive tank of a watch. No doubt this a geared for real ocean deep-dives, I'm sure that my recreational 60-80 foot dives will weather everything this watch brings to the table. The Poseidon logo is awesome and I have to say, the GMT function is awesome sauce for timing those calls back home while at beachside. This is truly the perfect beach watch; this is really all you need for that beach vacation, Then you can where your rollee out to dinner if you feel compelled, I think I will find a mesh bracelet to pair with this too, thanks for the tip Bruce. and yes, I forgot - Ceramic bezel - are you kidding me!

I agree with the Poseídon appeal BUT as a Divemaster, I have to say that no one uses dive tables anymore so a diving computer is more suitable than a dive watch. Of course, you can always carry both if it makes you happy 😊

I think this watch represents why there are so many junk wannabe desk/tool divers. To actually pull it off you gotta drop some coin. Otherwise you are compromising all over the place. That watch screams....SOLID...AF. Nice review Bruck Thank you!!

As a owner of this watch, I can safely say this pops. I get a lot of complements when I pair this up with casual Friday work outfit. It's solid and comfortable. I can't stop staring at it all day long. The only down side I would say is the underside does cut in a little, not very noticeable. If they had smooth out the bottom edges like the top, it would be perfect.

It wears quite well for a 1000m dive watch with gmt function expected it to be a little bigger...it has a beautiful industrial look to it...its a cool piece for sure

Thank you, Bruce, always nice to see something different. However, the price of $1, 800ish is overpriced in my opinion. I didn't think the regulated times in multiple positions were all that impressive. I'll take a Sinn any day, and for less $$

Great review Bruce as always! A quick question: which is better between this Aquadive and the Seiko MM 300? I love Seiko design and heritage, but this one yellow diver pumps a lot? Thanks for your comment

I´ve seen this watch first a few days ago through an Instagram Ad. Amazing Diver to be honest & very similar looks to the Doxa Sub! Awesome that the Aquadive brand comes from Austria (didn´t know that), quite near to me. Will pay the watchmaker a visit next time when I´m in Vienna.

Price point of ~600€ is on the very upper end of my budget unfortunately.

Absolutely love it. As a Turtle owner, I can vouch for the comfort of a cushion case. How does this compare to a Doxa

A little too large for my wrist, however, I appreciate the historical significance. I like the Aquadive 100 Blue Edition but again too large for me.

I oddly enough have two yellow watches. A Seiko 7002 with a Golden M&M dial. And a yellow dial Vostok. My collection is getting out of hand. 😝

Oddly having some Vostok vibe to it, don't know why.
