= (1/cosA + sinA/cosA)(1-sinA)

= (1 + sinA)/cosA(1-sinA)

= (1 - sin²A)/cosA(1-sinA)

Using Pythagorean identity: 1 - sin²A = cos²A

= cos²A/cosA(1-sinA)

= cosA/(1-sinA)

= 1/(1-sinA) × cosA

= 1
