When it comes to starters, it's so hard to choose just one! I do have a bias for grass types though and with Pearl being my first game, I have to go with my main man Grasstoise (Torterra), the Turtwig line just *feels* so powerful and I love beefy mons.

What i trink would be a fun video is same concept but you see the starters when you pick so it’s more of an mindgame because if there is a crazy ladandary, if you pick it and it was banned the other player can give you a trash mon but if it’s not banned and your to scared of picking it you may end up with an bad mon even though you could have had an great one.
Because like you did it it’s only a game of chance and no real chance to game a big brain move

Suggestion: you and your opponent get 4 rounds of starters each and have to make a full team in those rounds. You could take multiple mons in a round or skip a round entirely:)

Do it again, but if they guess correctly they buff the pokemon they choose.

If they choose the banned pokemon, you choose their pokemon and debut it.

31:19 Parrot has good attack, if you would have used brave bird or double edge it would have hurted; also remember it has hustle or guts as regular abilities... Don't underappeciate the parrot

I feel like this would have been a little bit more interesting if you guys actually got to see the pokémon you were choosing that way it's not just random chants if somebody picks one that was banned.
