Lighting the menorah in the valley of death

In 1942 the Nazis gathered all of Rostov’s Jews at Zmiyovskaya Balka - Snakes valley - which ultimately became the site of the worst massacre by the Nazis in Russia.

Today we visited the site to pray and light the menorah in the memory of the holy kedoshim who perished here.
