ZenCash Secure Node System Overview

An important part of ZenCash are the Secure Nodes. 3.5% of mining reward will be redirected to Secure Nodes. A System is needed in order to track, verify, report, and pay Secure Nodes.

There is a high level specification for the System, how it works is explained in the video.

The ZenCash Secure Node System will be developed and paid for by funds from the ZenCash treasury. Please visit the Forum post to review and discuss how to best implement the system. Also discussed on the ZenCash slack in #developers and #securenodes channels.

I looked into setting up a node and it's pretty complicated. Especially if you have no experience programming in Linux. Do you guys ever see a program being implemented that makes the process a bit easier for the average person??

How is Zen Cash judging "uptime" - I use NFO Servers and my uptime is horrible vs. OVH ... NFO is a dedicated 4 CPU / 4 GB RAM box and OVH is a shared VPS Service. NFO has great bandwidth, so I'm not sure what's going on... anyone know?
