Its Smoooth … sounds like a Diageo marketing campaign ! Great review on an easy to find beer. Fun comparison too … if they are that similar the lower abv in the can is definitely preferred for a sesh !

One thing to keep in mind, I'm not sure how much the ABV difference might have to do with importing to the UK and batch differences (however I have only seen difference of 0.1-0.2% over time). I have been drinking Sierra Nevada for probably 10 years here in the US and I have never notice an ABV difference in bottles vs cans. We also don't have those style of cans here, they look slightly different. Our cans do not say "Draught-Style", they just have the same label saying "Handcrafted Ale". Those are almost certainly made specifically for the international market while the bottle you have looks exactly like the ones sold here in the US. It might be possible that they hit the 5.0% ABV mark on purpose for some specific reason, like alcohol tax/sale laws in various countries.

The bottle is much better. It taste better a little cool not at room temperature
