How to move camera in Blender | Blender 4.0 Tutorial

Hey guys, welcome back to NextGenBlogger and in this video I want to show you how you can move camera in Blender. Now it's actually super easy to move camera in Blender. So without further delay, let's get started and see how you can do this. Now to demonstrate this, I've already opened up the Blender software and this is the default interface which you are going to see when you start Blender.

And before I even show you how you can move the camera,let me first of all delete this cube as I don't really need this. And instead of this cube, let me add a real character. So Blender has this default character which you can add and try out different things on it. And this character is actually a monkey. So to add this character, you need to go to the 'Add' menu, which is present right here. Next, go to 'Mesh' and right at the end, you will find this 'Monkey' option. So simply click on it. Now let me simply change the angle so that the face of the monkey is clearly visible. And now before I show you how you can move the camera, let's first see what the camera is viewing right now. So to see what the camera is viewing, you need to click on this option, which says 'Toggle the camera view'.

So this is what the camera is viewing right now on the screen, alright. And let me click on this option once again, that is 'Toggle the camera view'. And now to move the camera, you need to first of all select the camera. Next, you need to press the letter N on the keyboard to open the camera properties. Next, select the 'View' tab, which is present right here.

And now look inside the 'View' tab and right here you are going to find this 'View lock' section. And inside this section, you need to select this option that is 'Camera to View'. So select this option. And now what you need to do is you need to click on this option once again, that is 'Toggle the camera view'. And now move the camera wherever you want to move it.

So let's say I want to move the camera at this particular position. And once you are done, simply click on this option once again, that is 'Toggle the camera view'. And that's it. And so now if I just show you the position of the camera. So initially the camera was at this particular position. And now it is at this particular position, alright. And I hope the entire process is clear to you.

It's really simple. All you need to do is you need to select the camera. Next you need to click on this option that is 'Toggle the camera view'. Next, simply move the camera wherever you want to move it. And once you are done, simply click on this option once again, that is 'Toggle the camera view'. And that's it. This is how you can actually move the camera in blender. And once you are done moving the camera, go to the camera properties once again and unselect this option that is 'Camera to View'.
