In November last year Alex (one of our Tooling Engineers) was part of the Autodesk University event in Las Vegas. He was tasked with making this machined aluminum housing on our UMC-500. In this video Alex and Andrew talk about the steps Alex took to setup the part and some of the constraints and issues he had to consider during the process.

I think there needs to be more videos like this for full ops to help see the process all the way through. I have a VF2 in my garage and it's still intimidating to me sometimes on how to do certain things.

Job shop owner: Your lucky if you get a print nowadays. Customers are too lazy to make a pdf of a part. When you question a hole size, they get their panties in a twist. You ask if it's for a bearing. Yes, it is they come back. What's the tolerance on it. There reply is; I want a slip, semi push fit. That's what they come back with. WTF!
