Impressive, and i got quoted for an 1.0 Aygo for 4600 a year as a first driver at 19 😂, insurance rn is actually ridiculous in London.

I paid £1260, without a black box, at 18 for a 1998 Rover 211. Owning something rare that people aren't making claims on all the time really helps.

This was back in 2021.
Drove that for 2 years got alot practice in even after passing 1st attempt. Was nervous on motorways so paid £150 for a crash course locally nd wow it helped alot.

Just got my car. 1 litre Nissan Juke and 2021 model. Live in Bolton too and just passed my driving and the lowest comprehensive insurance I can find was 2, 800 😂. Ridiculous honestly but I can imagine how high it would be in cities.

Bolton is so bad. My sister moved from a different and her insurance went from 700 to 1600🙈

I'm 30 and passed last year. My car is a 1.2 vauxhall sri 12 plate and cost £400, (insurance right off but minor damage) the insurance cost £1000 no blackbox

my first year was £1, 200 on a 1.0. if i regstered it at my fathers address, it wouldve been £600.
i was also insured on a 2.5 truck for £15pm and a 2.0 car for £20pm

I've seen worse quotes than 2500 though, but it is a pain in the ass for new drivers to pay stupid amounts.
