Open source means that anyone can see the code and confirm that there is nothing malicious about it. But for those people who are less technically oriented, a closed system where one puts all of one's trust in a corporation, Apple in this case, might be better for that particular person. However, I can easily say the free and open-source is the future.

How is this an iPhone vs Android video? Android didn't even exist in the market when this video was made. Jobs said iOS uses digital signing and sandboxing for its apps - so does Android. This is a pretty standard implement for software security.

Everything about Jobs is what gave Apple its magic touch. I still miss this guy. He motivates me to keep achieving success no matter what comes in my way.
