Springtime Steam on the Mid Hants Railway - 05/04/2016

A trip to the Mid Hants Railway was in order for the 5th April, with the standard two train service in operation. BR 9F No. 92212 and recently overhauled LMS Ivatt 2MT No. 41312 would take charge of round trips from Alresford and Alton respectively.

All scenes were captured on Tuesday 5th April 2016.

Great shots of the new tank, I will have to get down soon to see her for myself. Seems like they have already managed to go through a cylinder gland or something by those end clips, right cylinder seems to be hissing a lot... They don't like to use their drain cocks much at the MHR...!
