Salvation Army Garland Provides Utility Bill Assistance - [phone]

Rowlett residents who need help with their utility bills may now qualify to receive assistance through the Salvation Army in Garland.

Here are some of the program parameters:
Client can receive utility assistance once every 12 months (on a rolling basis);
- Clients will income qualify by showing they make 80% of the median income as defined by HUD;
- Utility bill must be in the client’s name requesting assistance;
- These funds can pay for penalties;
- These funds cannot pay for deposits;
- There is no residency length of time requirement.
