The suspect of the deadly shooting at the University of Virginia was charged with three counts of second-degree murder among other charges during his first court appearance via video link from jail. NBC News’ Marissa Parra reports from Charlottesville, Virginia.

Another example of black on black violence that has devastated our minority communities. People need to resolve differences in a civilized manner rather than resorting to murder. Very promising young black men who were getting an education in order to advance were murdered. According to report, there were many red flags concerning this perpetrator but these warnings were ignored. Very tragic incident.
