Years ago, my parents had a dog who used to whimper and whine at an under-sink kitchen cabinet. My mother thought it was because she kept an open box of dog biscuits under the sink, and the dog wanted a treat (but wouldn’t stop begging).
Years later, after the dog was long gone, my parents replaced the kitchen cabinets. Workmen discovered a huge mountain of dog biscuits under the cabinet floor boards! Apparently a field mouse (or two or three) had gotten into the foundation and found the open box of biscuits and would steal them one at a time. They would then take each biscuit under the floorboard to their nest! There were hundreds of MilkBones under there! That’s what the dog was trying to tell my mom! The dog could hear the mouse rummaging around under the sink, even if humans couldn’t.
Years after her death, our dog was finally vindicated!

Set a couple of traps, bro. You probably have a field mouse in there.

Listen to your dog! YOU might think there’s nothing, but a dog’s instinct is priceless. Especially the way he is acting. He is absolutely trying to tell you something. Of all places he goes crazy there. How can you not see?

Not at all your dog is sensing something down there. They don’t act like that for no reason. They are purely picking something up. It is worth investigating. Dogs are uncanny and smart.
