i love that VF keeps it pure, fighting is literally what its about not always flying about and doing fancy shit but every now and then VF does show a nice bit of unrealistic flair, that's what its about for me.

The blocking animations are a nice touch, and the realistic environments are better than the classic platforms IMO, unless there was some special reason for it to be that way. I wonder if this 0:40 is how the ring outs are going to be in this, more cinematic, like a Danger zone heavy hit. Something like the Shenmue game as the story mode is great, I loved playing that game and how Ryo I think his name was, used Akira's moves. I don't know why they didn't do it before, it's like they quit the story telling after VF3. I'll be getting this game for sure, love me some VF.

This was a breath of fresh air after watching the latest character announcement for Tekken. It looks like this trailer was timed just right. I can't wait to see what Sega is bringing to the modern fighting game scene.
