Brightline BLF720 was qualifying crews and I decided to get a max speed run by on the Orlando Extension. Here he goes at full 125mph (confirmed it was 125)

Great shot. Can't wait to see 10 passenger car Brightline trains swinging by at 125 MPH/200 KMH. I've used Brightline many times. Such a great service.

One big thing going in Brightline's favor is that the train itself acts as a giant billboard promoting it. Cars stuck in traffic on the Beachline Expressway will see a train fly by at 125.

Great catch. Greetings from Canada. We need that high speed high frequency rail infrastructure here like there pronto. Our current Via Rail trains are almost always late due to freight traffic.

Too bad that 125mph will only be for 40 miles, otherwise, they'd be onto something.

On my way to cape canaveral, east bound 528, I saw some asshole racing the train..

If we can just get people to stop driving through crossing arm gates we’ll be all set. I honestly can’t wrap my mind on why someone would do that? There were two massive accidents in three days last week at the exact same rail crossing.
