OnePlus 6 review

What do we think of the OnePlus 6 after giving it the full review treatment? This is the most grown-up feeling smartphone to come from OnePlus to date. With lots of power, strong cameras, and a premium glass design, it doesn't feel out of place alongside its flag-ship competitors and offers a huge amount of bang for buck.

I ordered mine last night, I went for the 128GB version.

I can't wait for it to arrive in the post! Should be here next week. I'm fully on board and delighted to be backing a company that's bringing a real value for money high-end product.

This is good for consumers and I'm glad to be part of the club. I'm a grown man and I'm actually excited..!

Been two days since I got mine. Battery performance has been sub-par so far, I hope it will improve gradually. But Dash Charge definitely makes up for it though. Solid, solid phone.

A year? My god I expect my stuff to last much longer than that before they start to feel tired. And glass housings? That is the most stupid thing phone manufacturers have ever introduced. These things are carried around all day and need to take everything life can throw at them so durability should be a major priority.

How come is this called a review? Almost all the information can be seen at the official site, the rest is way too general. No help in taking decision, should I buy it or not.

one plus has that magic method of marketing, the same which Apple used when it showed up with iPhone in 2007.
Then thereafter onwards they use the brand value to continue their process of selling products even though they are of less appealing.
This time OnePlus introduced bullets wireless earphones pretty sure they will expand their line up soon, like what Apple did, there's nothing wrong with this, but in the future they may end up like Apple right now like selling products which is not up to any expectations .And people blinded by the way they sell this will buy them for sure .I am not criticising them, I am just saying the way they change through the years is just not comfortable.

Now they say it is slightly heavier than the 5T, seems glass is old tech as all that weight could be used for more sensors and battery, this is why I really hate all the cell phone companies and reviewers. Nothing wrong with this reviewer, but it can only be used on GSM networks (that means you are knocking out 50% of the bandwidth) thus even if you use GSM if you ever sell it or give it away 50% of the users probably won't like it. There is no reason why these phones cant have replaceable batteries, I feel like a sucker for buying it.

Hi. I've been asking this in oneplus 6 forums but it seems no one can give me the answer. So here it is:

I'm a 3T user and I must say I'm very much happy about my phone that I didn't even bother buying OnePlus 5/5T. But this time, I am considering buying OP6. My ONLY concern is the camera. Why does OnePlus have to make a camera that has a higher resolution sensor, same aperture size as the main camera and only use it for portrait mode? I mean, isn't it just a waste of resources? Even with my 3T, I can do bokeh effect using this particular "google camera app". No wide angle, no crisp monochrome, no telephoto??? Just portait mode for the secondary camera? I hope you understand that many of phone manufacturers uses low pixel secondary cameras if it is just for portrait mode. This is not a hate comment but I really need enlightenment as to why so much resources is used for such a not-so-necessary feature? If would have made the cost lower and also the selling price as well. ARE THEY TRYING TO DECEIVE US? It feels like a complete downgrade."

For Pete sakes!!, Will these manufacturers just stop this stupidity about the notch already? Even when you “hide the notch”, the screen does not look balanced... the top bezel then looks bigger than the bottom one. Whatever happed to symmetry in design?
